Author Profile:Angus Winchester has worked in the drinks and hospitality industry for over 14 years and has come a long way since his humble beginnings as a glass collector at a local nightclub in his home town of Oxford. From Oxford to London and finally to New York to seek his fame and fortune, Angus found himself making Martinis for De Niro and Negronis for Roy Liechtenstein. Here has was introduced to hip drinks and realised the power of the Professional Bartender. Back in London, he found himself working with drinks giant Allied Domecq, Diageo and finally started his own company – International Playboy Bartenders (IPB) that provided bartenders for top events and caters to movie launches, fashion extravaganzas, celebrity parties and innumerable other events. After a successful debut in IPB he moved on to create another entity the Alconomics ( www.alconomics.com ), where now he is 100% WET (Writing, Events, Training)!
